Date added: 05/05/2013 Need Parts for your iPhone repair?
There’s not a lot that’s more frustrating than dropping your iPhone, and ending up with a cracked screen, or turning it on one day to discover that the Home button no longer functions. Whether your battery has suddenly stopped charging, or the speaker needs replacing, here at iPhonefixed we can help. You might be thinking that the only option is to send your iPhone away to be repaired by a company that provides a costly and dubious service, but surprisingly that’s not true. Here at iPhonefixed, not only do we offer an iPhone repairs service carried out by our highly-trained technical team, we also sell every iPhone spare part you might ever need.
If you’re a long term iPhone owner, and you’re a real technology addict, chances are you’ll have the knowledge required to be able to carry out your own iPhone repairs by fitting the spare parts yourself. Whatever the problem, whether you have one of the first iPhone models, or the latest iPhone 5, we almost certainly stock the iPhone parts to bring your iPhone back to life. Has your Home button suddenly inexplicably stopped working? Fix it your own time, and for a fraction of the price by simply purchasing one of our spare parts. Perhaps you’ve dropped your iPhone, and cracked or smashed the screen? Here at iPhonefixed, we specialise in iPhone screen repairs, and can replace your broken screen with a brand new one for a fantastically low price – alternatively, purchase the spare iPhone parts on their own, and fit them yourself. If you’ve got the expertise, we’ve got the iPhone parts to fix whatever issues you may be having.
At iPhonefixed, we believe that a phone is only as good as the parts that are inside it, which is why we only ever use iPhone parts of the highest quality in all of our repairs – and the iPhone parts we sell for individual repairs are exactly the same. Many companies offer cheaper iPhone parts and repairs services, by simply using inferior parts, and although this might seem an advantage at the time, it often ends up being a false economy. Cheaper iPhone parts are often actually inadequate, and of a lower quality, which means that you’ll invariably end up having to replace them again. By purchasing your iPhone spare parts from the team at iPhonefixed, you can guarantee that they’ll go the distance, and bring your iPhone back to life.
Date added: 20/04/2013 iPhone Fault Finding Service
If your iPhone usually works quickly and efficiently, it can be incredibly frustrating when things start to go wrong for no apparent reason. Fault finding on an iPhone can be incredibly tricky, particularly when the only clue you have to work with is an iPhone that’s working slower than usual, or a battery that won’t charge. Perhaps you’ve dropped your iPhone, and the screen is in tact, but the handset itself seems to be working incorrectly? Or maybe the Home button on your iPhone has inexplicably stopped working, and the screen has locked? Whatever the problem with your iPhone, whether it’s an older iPhone 3G, or a brand new iPhone 5, iPhonefixed can rescue you from iPhone hell with our fault finding service.
Whether you’re stuck with a frozen iPhone screen, or you can’t seem to hear through your iPhones speaker, here at iPhonefixed, we can discover the problem in a few easy steps. Our iPhone fault finding service consists of an extensive range of tests and diagnostics, designed to find the issue with your iPhone as quickly and simply as possible. For just £9.99, our team of highly trained technicians will thoroughly test all elements of your iPhone, in order to locate the problem, before sending you a detailed report with their findings. During the final stages of the iPhonefixed fault finding service, you’ll be sent a detailed quote, which lists any defective parts found, and any necessary repairs or replacements required to restore your iPhone to its original glory.
Every part of an iPhone is interchangeable, so regardless of the issue at hand, you can feel confident and assured that our team of technicians can fix the problem. Once we’ve completed the iPhone fault finding service, the decision to go ahead and have us carry out the repairs or replacements is entirely up to you. Here at iPhonefixed, we use only the highest quality spare parts in any repairs, from water damage recovery, to a new Home button – we believe that cheaper parts, as used by numerous other companies, are a false economy. All spare and replacement parts used by our technical team are either original Apple parts, or the best quality alternative, so you can be sure that once we’ve found the problem using our iPhone fault finding service, we can remedy the situation in the best possible way.
Date added: 01/04/2013 We are still the best at iPhone screen repairs.
If you’ve just purchased a brand new iPhone, the last thing you’re going to be thinking about is iPhone repairs – however, it pays to think ahead because unfortunately, accidents can happen. Whether you’re hanging on to an iPhone 3G, or you’ve got yourself a fresh-out-of-the-box iPhone 5, repairs of any type will probably be the furthest thing from your mind, and you certainly won’t be considering the possibility of having to look into iPhone screen repairs. However, all it takes is a single slip of the hand, or an over enthusiastic child, and you can find yourself with an Apple addicts nightmare – a broken iPhone that requires an extensive and highly technical iPhone screen repair procedure.
Here at iPhonefixed, we know how important your iPhone is, and how frustrating it can be when things go wrong. That’s why we pride ourselves on providing a specialist iPhone screen repairs service, using only the highest quality parts and the most competent technical team. An iPhone screen has a complex construction, and is made up of two parts; a retina LCD and the top glass layer. To maximise your viewing quality, and to eliminate dust between the two parts, they’re bonded together firmly - while this is obviously an advantage when it comes to using your iPhone, it means that if you need any iPhone screen repairs, you need to contact someone reliable. Here at iPhonefixed, we offer a comprehensive iPhone screen repairs service, where we replace both the retina LCD and the top glass layer, using only the most advance iPhone screen repairs techniques.
While the techniques used in an iPhone screen repair procedure are obviously important, using high quality spare parts is paramount. While a lot of companies appear to offer a cheaper repairs service, they also choose to use cheaper, and therefore inadequate, parts. Here at iPhonefixed, we believe that using sub-standard spare parts is a false economy – while it appears to be cheaper at the time, badly made parts will almost certainly malfunction and leave you requiring further repairs services. Purchasing our iPhone screen repairs service will mean that your iPhone is not only in the best hands, but also that the new iPhone screen is either an original Apple part, or an alternative of the highest quality.
Date added: 10/03/2013 Get repairing and recycling with iPhonefixed
It’s a widely known fact that if you’re the owner of an iPhone, when you contact Apple with regards to any iPhone repairs that you might need, they simply replace your iPhone rather than undertaking any necessary iPhone repairs.
Thousands of iPhones that could be repaired or recycled end up in landfill every single year – which means that the internal chemicals, such as lead and beryllium, are leaked into the atmosphere and the ground. These hazardous toxins are fatal to any local wildlife, and often make their way into the water system, poisoning what would be human drinking water.
It’s more important now than ever before to try and preserve our environment, so instead of sending your broken iPhone to Apple for iPhone repairs, why not send it to iPhonefixed – our technical team use the highest quality iPhone repair techniques.
From iPhone screen repairs, to more simple procedures such as iPhone Home button replacements, our iPhone repair service is second to none. Send your iPhone to iPhonefixed for complete confidence that your iPhone will be returned to you as good as new, and that you’re doing your bit to help the environment
Date added: 27/01/2013 Top Apps for Staying Organise
The iTunes Store may be filled with thousands of addictive games and brilliant films, but that shouldn’t mean your iPhone or iPad is strictly used for fun. Sorry to remind you, but sometimes there’s work to do – and much like a broken iPhone screen, ignoring it won’t make it go away. Luckily there are some great apps to help you stay organised.
Clear - £1.49
Simple and functional, Clear is a listkeeping app that is really satisfying to use. Create new lists and add items with just a swipe of your finger. And the cheerful sound effect that jingles each time you tick off an item is surprisingly motivating.
Evernote – Free
Make lists, keep notes, take photos and record voice reminders all with one app – and it syncs across all of your devices. Organise all your content and search for what you need, and you can even email and share your notes to keep friends and colleagues in the loop.
Due - £2.99
A reminder app that just focuses on the basics – no need to waste time create start or end dates, setting priorities or adding unnecessary details. Just note your task, set the time and the app will remind you. And it won’t let you forget, because Due will keep notifying you until you take action.
Penultimate – 69p
Sometimes typing just won’t do, so scribble it instead. Penultimate looks like a notebook and can be filled with words and sketches. You can also import images, and your pages can be saved and sent to others. Remember to use it for important notes and not just childish drawings of your boss.
Good luck in your more productive life! You’ll soon wonder how you ever coped without your digital assistants – so if your device ever gets damaged, send it to us for a quick and efficient iPhone repair. You’ll be back in business in no time.

Date added: 14/01/2013 iPhone Tips and Tricks
If you’re a new iPhone user, it goes without saying that you may not have explored everything your amazing gadget can do yet – but even if you’re an Apple veteran, there are always more iPhone tips and tricks to discover! Here are a few of our favourite shortcuts for quick and easy iPhone use…
Use nicknames in Siri
So, you’ve got a friend called Dave but sometimes you call him Mouse for reasons that you can’t quite remember. If you want Siri to understand both of his possible names, just press his name in your Contacts list and find the ‘Edit’ button. Then click ‘Add Field’ and enter your amusing nickname in the appropriate place.
Flash alerts
As well as sounds and vibrations, your iPhone can also flash its LED light when you receive an alert. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ > ‘Accessibility’ and turn on the slider that says ‘LED Flash for Alerts’.
Add shortcut phrases
Do you find yourself texting or emailing the same things all the time? Save time by creating a shortcut. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ > ‘Keyboard’ > ‘Add New Shortcut’, then enter your overused phrase and an appropriate acronym. (To borrow Apple’s example, ‘on my way’ could be ‘omw’.) Each time you type your shortcut, the extended phrase will appear automatically. Simple!
Take a photo with volume controls
Avoid shaky photographs by using the volume control buttons to take your iPhone pictures. Keep the phone steady using both hands and press either the ‘+’ button on the side of your iPhone or on your headphone cord to snap the picture.
If you’ve just read a really long email or scrolled to the bottom of a huge web page, there’s no need to scroll all the way back up. Just tap the status bar at the top of your screen (that’s where the time and battery life icon are) and you’ll jump right back to the top.
Save photos from the internet
While browsing the internet in Safari, you can save your favourite images to use as your iPhone wallpaper or share with friends. Simply press and hold the chosen photo, and it will give you the option to save the image. You’ll find it in your Camera Roll.
Quick six day weather forecast
For a quick weather check, you can pull down the Notifications screen to see the current forecast – but what if you need to see a few days ahead? Just swipe your finger to the left or right to see the forecast for the next six days. Also, if you’re using the Weather app, tap anywhere on the screen to reveal an hourly forecast for the day ahead.
Quick URL suffixes
We all know Safari offers a .com button to save time while typing websites URLs, but you can also press and hold to display a list of alternatives, including .org and .net.
Use Siri discreetly
Siri is great, but has the potential be a little embarrassing if you’re shouting instructions at your iPhone in public. Rather than look like you’re talking to yourself, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ > ‘Siri’, and then activate the ‘Raise to Speak’ option. Now Siri will launch when you hold your phone to your ear – much less obvious!

Three months since the official launch of iPhone 5, and many of the first handsets to be purchased will be starting to show signs of wear and tear. It’s unfortunate to be thinking about iPhone 5 repairs so soon, but many of the eager Apple customers that queued for hours to buy the new model will already be seeing a number of scratches and cracks.
If your new iPhone isn’t looking so new, you may be feeling a bit jealous of the thousands that will unwrap a pristine new handset on Christmas morning. You don’t want to watch a friend showing off their new perfect iPhone when yours already has a damaged screen and dodgy battery life, do you?
Whether it’s a cracked iPhone 5 screen, battery issues, or a scratched and damaged back panel, perhaps it’s time to give your phone some TLC. iPhonefixed can arrange an efficient iPhone 5 repair using only high quality or original Apple parts, so your new phone will look as good as the day you bought it.
Date added: 15/12/2012 iPad is Most Popular Christmas Gift. Will you be buying one?
Officially the ‘most wanted’ gift of 2012, there will be a huge number of iPads found under the tree this Christmas – and with the release of the new iPad Mini, there is now even more choice for Apple shoppers. But when faced with that all-important question, which would you prefer: Big or small?
While the new iPad boasts its impressive Retina display and faster processor, the iPad Mini, with its cheaper price tag and portable size, is proving to be an extremely popular option – particularly for parents and their children, who can be kept entertained for hours with educational games and cartoons. But with increased use by the younger generation, many iPads may be more likely to incur damage in all that festive excitement. Accidental drops, spilt drinks – how many iPad Mini repairs will be required by New Year’s Eve?
Even if your iPad won’t be touched by tiny hands, there’s still a chance of accidents. A broken iPad screen can happen with very little force – so be careful after you’ve indulged in a few festive drinks, as they’re very easy to drop! Damage is always disappointing, but if you do find yourself in need of an iPad screen repair, there’s no need to panic. iPhonefixed can provide an efficient and reliable fix for your favourite Christmas gift – you’ll be reunited in no time at all!
Date added: 12/12/2012 How To Ensure a Successful DIY iPhone Repair - The importance of high quality parts
Broken your iPhone? If a brand new handset is out of the question, you may think your only option is sending your phone away to be fixed – but this isn’t always appealing to the Apple addicts among you. It isn’t surprising, therefore, that DIY iPhone repairs are now an increasingly popular choice for those with a bit of technical knowledge. Step-by-step instructions for the most common iPhone fixes are readily available online in the form of ‘how to’ articles and videos, so many of you are now purchasing iPhone parts to carry out your own replacements and repairs. With confidence and care, your broken iPhone could soon be as good as new without ever leaving your sight. But how can you ensure a successful job?
It is very important to choose high quality parts for any iPhone repair. It can be tempting to save money and choose the cheapest option, but unfortunately a low price almost always means low quality. Cheap parts often do not work correctly or only last a limited time, which could result in further expense to fix the problem. Choosing high quality parts is always more cost effective in the long term, as you can be sure that your repair will be long lasting and reliable. After spending time and effort on DIY fix, you don’t want to find your iPhone in a worse condition than it was before you started – but this is a real possibility if you choose the wrong parts for the job.
Choosing a reputable source for your iPhone spare parts is also vital to ensure their quality. Sadly there are many untrustworthy retailers that may attempt to disguise their poor quality products and bad customer service, so always check reviews and feedback before purchasing. We also recommend talking to the seller if you require verification on anything – at iPhonefixed we provide only high quality or original Apple parts, and we are always on hand to answer questions or queries so you feel completely confident in our service.
Here are iPhonefixed we provide high quality iPhone parts for a wide variety of faults – including replacement glass, digitiser and LCD for screen damage, a brand new rear panel, Home button, battery, headphone jack, camera unit and much more. Simply order the parts you need and feel confident that your phone will soon be as perfect as the day you bought it. (But if you’re still worried about carrying out your own repair, just send your iPhone to us and let us do the hard work for you!)
